Recent wanderings in Mid Wales
Hafren Forest, planted by the Forestry Commission in the 1930s. Through it flows the beginnings of the Afon Hafren (the River Severn), the longest river in Britain.
The lingering touch of summer in the warmth from a September sun.
Crisp, fresh air wrapping itself around you in early morning and the wild beauty of Hafren Forest gently making space and time a place for you to breathe deep and rest.
I've not been back to Mid Wales since my Dad retired from work in Aberystwyth in the 00's.
It has been a long time since I've been back but the magic hasn't left the area,
if anything it has become stronger.
