In response to the beginnings for our first lockdown in the UK I started to document the area around where I live. We all experienced the deserted streets, the silent building sites and the quiet roads. As everything moved to a slower pace due to work bookings being cancelled or postponed I found again the calming way that observing and photographing a place can bring a person. These are some of the photographs I made during that time.
